Men of age or birds of a feather flock together?

Not Exclusivley so, apparantley ,as I witnessed Pelicans and Cormorants huddled there together in a flock on the old Bogie channel bridge, this morning.

Got me to thinking, well they do both have webbed feet I suppose and they are birds, I suppose, and they are together I suppose, but imagine they are a different species, Hmmm,
