7:14 a.m high tide. Partly cloudy, winds variable 5 kts. 30% chance of rain, seas 1-2′ outside the reef, isolated showers and thunderstorms, near shore smooth to light chop.
Tied up to a mooring Ball At Looe Key, eating strawberrys I chuck the not eaten tops with leafy green attached into the water, The Sargeant Majors, come to the surface rolling in a feeding frenzy, I find they relish equally as well, Potatoe chips, A storm skirts moving N. N.E. lightening bolts, winds increase to 20-25, donning Pink Mask and fin’s, Karen’s Blue we jump in for a swim, 3 Dusky sharks circling , a hog fish there, Parrot fish , Snapper, and all those crazy little sargent majors everywhere, I am hearing Paul Mcartneys Jet, La La La La La Sargeant Major, I heard your were gonna be Marrying soon. I looked it up the lyrics that is to Jet, there seems to be some argument to what he was writing about some say his dog, others say David Bowie, and even others say nothing, He was just stringing words together together, because he could do what he liked, Anything. I rather like the latter concept. But the more I think about it, he was singing about the Sargeant Majors eating strawberrys at Loo Key, you know the Beatles did visit Key West.
